WXII: 4th Annual Black Luxe Expo returns to High Point
HIGH POINT, N.C. —The 4th Annual Black Luxe Expo is set to return on September 9 from 2-8 p.m. at the High Point Theater. Hundreds of Black-owned businesses will be featured.
This year's theme of the one-day expo pays homage to hip-hop culture, in celebration of its influence on art, style, and awareness. Whitney Middlebrooks, owner of Black Luxe and Company, said she also chose the theme because hip-hip paved the way for African-American entrepreneurs to create businesses that complement the culture and contribute to economic growth.
